Audio-to-MIDI Lyrics is an add-on to Audio-to-MIDI in Mirelo Studio that turns the sung words in a song into timed lyrics, right next to the notes. Upload a song with vocals and tick "Add lyrics transcription" to get the vocal melody as MIDI, the words under the vocal notes, a lyrics panel that follows the song as it plays, and sheet music PDFs and MusicXML files with the lyrics included. It works in any language, and the lyrics transcription is powered by AudioShake.
Audio-to-MIDI already turns a recording into editable MIDI for every instrument it hears, and Lyrics writes out the words that go with the vocal part. Once lyrics are added to a transcription, you get:
If lyrics transcription fails, your MIDI is still there and you are not charged for the lyrics.
Lyrics is one option inside Audio-to-MIDI, so the notes and the words come from the same upload:
You can also add lyrics later to any earlier transcription that has vocals.
If you have ever paused a track every few seconds to write down a verse by ear, this is the part of Audio-to-MIDI built for that job. It is made for musicians, singers, songwriters and music teachers who want to:
AudioShake builds AI for audio separation and lyric transcription, and it powers the lyrics transcription in Audio-to-MIDI. AudioShake's technology writes out the sung words, and Audio-to-MIDI places them next to the notes it transcribes.
Audio-to-MIDI Lyrics is live in Audio-to-MIDI in Mirelo Studio from 28 October 2026.
